This is a super antique hallmarked sterling silver 'dog' cigarette case measuring 3 1/2" (9 cms) x 2 1/2" (6.5 cms) across with a dog on the front which I think is some kind of retriever. The hallmark reads Birmingham 1909 and it's by the silversmiths Arthur & John Zimmerman. The condition is very good with just some light surface marks. It weighs 76.5 grams and it opens and closes as it should - please see photos and email with any queries - all queries will be answered between 9am and 6pm UK time .
