Sugar Hill Farm is happy to offer antique and vintage items from an old home in Scotland. This wonderful old crane was found on Balnakeil Beach in Durness, Scotland. The crane was found in the 1930âe(tm)s by the mother of the present owner. It is from the 1700âe(tm)s and came from an old large kitchen fireplace w it was used for cooking. The hook with it was cleaned in recent years but is the original hook that was found with the crane. The upright length of iron has unusual twisted decoration which I have shown in detail photos and measures 42 ¼âe and the swinging crane is 46âe.
