Beautiful hand tooled leather cigar or cigarette box in very good condition. Was told by the antique dealer that I purchased this from that it was English.The leather is embossed with a fleur de lis design with the middle having the bust of an English knight. The inside is wooden with a leather strap on the inside of the top that held 16 small cigars or cigarettes. The bottom has as a slot for keeping the tobacco in along with six more slots for cigars. All of the leather binding is tight. Over all I would rate this leather box a 9.8. Measures 7 3/4" long x 6" wide x 2 1/2" tall. You won't find a better looking box than this one.
