HAND CRAFTED antique vintage DULCIMER handmade by Kentucky artist John D. Tignor !From local estate collection of musical instruments, this is an AUTHENTIC ORIGINAL crafted by known artist JOHN D. TIGNOR with his signature "shamrock" face cutouts. It measures a tad over 33" long, all wooden construction, appears to be Cherry wood. PLEASE SEE close-up 2nd photo of inside paper tag that reads "made by John D. Tignor, Route 7, Box 251, Frankfort Kentucky"...Overall in very nice condition, appears to be played little, but we did notice two flaws...the 3rd string is missing and needs to be replaced, and there is a cosmetic stress crack along one of the curved sides (see last photo, look to right). A few minor scuffs. Everything appears as original best of our knowledge. NO RESERVE PRICE so good luck bidding !
