ANTIQUE STERLING SILVER OPEN FACE POCKET WATCH c1901 A really nice pocket watch in a nice condition by H.Samuel Manchester The movement is in good working order keeping reasonably good time. As with all vintage watches, no claims are made regarding accuracy of time keeping. Vintage watches may need servicing, even if they are in good running condition, and unless otherwise stated they may need to be cleaned, timed, oiled or adjusted. The movement is key wound (anti-clockwise) and you set the hands at the front of the watch. c/w key but not original The large silver case measures 55mm diameter approx, it is in a good condition, nice engine turning on the back.some wear and pocket watch scratches little dents, as you would expected for a used watch of this age (see photo). On the inside of the case it has a lion for sterling silver, Anchor for Birmingham, with initials G.H.I (I think!) and the letter b (see photo) On the movement it has H.Samuel Market St, MANCHESTER. 141178 The hinges are good for a used watch, all covers close as they should. White ceramic dial is in a good condition, H.Samuel Manchester. there is a chip on the ridge of the dial by 1 (see photo ) The crystal is in good condition, some pocket wear scratches . THIS REALLY IS A VERY NICE OLD POCKET WATCH I can only describe this watch as being in a good condition
