Antique HELLAM French Provinical Cherry Dresser Chest THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION !!! You are bidding on a BIG Antique French Provincial Cherry Mahogany Dresser Chest of Drawers. I have ALL the matching pieces to this antique bedroom set on Ebay and ALL of these auctions start at one dollar bids with NO reserve. This set was VERY WELL made by Hellam Furniture Co. which prior to 1950 they made some of the highest quality case goods. This set is a RARE FIND and made in Cherry with a nice wood grain pattern. Its American Made Circa 1950. It has 9 beautifully curved drawers which are all doweled and dovetailed together with brass pull handles that have a floral pattern etched into the brass itself. The piece itself sit on nicely curved cabriole legs with scroll tipped feet. The drawers also have beautifully recessed panels and trim work and the bottom of them are lined in solid mahogany. It has nicely rounded columns with carved rosettes and beautifully curved and raised panels on each side. This piece was VERY WELL made with quality that surpasses anything made today and is all wood construction but Please understand that this is antique that is ALL ORIGINAL so it has some minor imperfections on it can use a little tlc but overall its in excellent shape.
