is one fantastic antique porcelain hand-painted basket produced in Limoges, France , circa 1890 -1914. It's marked with the torch "Flambeau" mark in green, circa 1890 -1914. The studio artist who hand-painted this beauty is "Gilbert" late 18th Century - early 20th Century", whose name appears on the bowl; see the 2nd picture. It has a fabulous hand-painted purple Iris pattern with a Rocco style gold gilt handle and open tab ends. The basket is in mint condition; no loss of the gilt or pattern; no chips, cracks or repairs. This piece has been in storage for years. Just a beautiful piece of antique Limoges porcelain, well-cared for over the years. It measures 7" by 5" excluding the handle; the handle is approximately 2 1/2 inches higher than the base of the basket. Please review all pictures and ask questions before bidding.
