This is an authentic U.S. antique Indian Wars dress plume helmet. As far as I can tell, it is completely original. Very rare. I do not know if it is complete, nor is it perfect, so please look carefully at the photos. The helmet is slightly out of shape, and could use some reblocking. Headliner (did it have one?) is missing. Inner headband deteriorated. The eagle badge is not attached. I did not want to force it on, as the original soldered hooks are weak. Size 7, with original size label still intact. This is a wonderful specimen for restoration, or just to add to any collection. $12 for USPS Priority Mail shipping, careful packaging, insurance, and delivery confirmation. Paypal only on this item. Stands roughly 10" high.
