This is a beautiful old watercolor by the well-known artist Edgar Forkner ( 1867-1945). He was born in Richmond, Indiana and later moved first to Chicago where he taught art and then to the Seattle area where he painted coastal and harbor scenes. I believe this is one of his paintings from the Puget Sound or coastal area of Seattle, Washington--there appear to be a couple of ship masts painted very lightly in the background. The image size is 5 1/2" x 10 1/4" and the frame size is 10" x 14 1/2". It is clearly signed lower left and is in excellent condition. It is a beautiful old painting. , I have a 100% rating on eBay after 11 years. Thanks for looking at my auction. Dave
