Antique Ironstone Three-piece Soap Dish, circa 1880 - 1910. Item consists of the bottom dish, soap strainer, and a handled lid. It is stamped Ironstone Warranted, is smeared. This was used on a sink or washstand and still is usable and would dress up any bathroom area. It is covered to keep soap out of sight and free from dust and dirt. The gold trim around the lid does show some wear but the handle trim and beautiful blue tulip print are in good shape. There are no cracks or chips, but interior soap drain dish does show crazing from age. It measures approximately 4" from bottom to top of handle and 4 1/4" in diameter.
