Antique Islamic/Ottoman Empire Canakkale Pottery Ewer, C.1850 Antique Islamic/Ottoman Empire Canakkale Pottery Ewer, C.1850 This is beautiful late 19 th century salt glaze jug or ewer from the Canakkale pottery producing region of Turkey . This example dates to the Ottoman Empire , and has a typically rich yellow glaze with heavily incised green sgraffito decoration. It dates to around 1850, and is in very good condition. This is a superb piece of antique ceramics, stylish and desirable – this is perfect for the collector. Condition Good – there is some wear, along with a few flakes of missing glaze. Delivery It will be very securely wrapped & protected.
