From my mother-in-law's estate and in excellent condition. No chips or cracks. Very unusual piece that features a handpainted large Gypsy Woman with her arms held high over her head as she plays a tamborine. Her outfit is definitely vintage in appearance and her apron is decorated with handpainted flowers. She rests against a tree, when looking at the back side and clearly seen in the pictures, which acts as a bud vase. She stands 12" high and I think this is quite an unusual piece of majolica. She is made of some type of pottery material and is quite heavy. Marked on the bottom "Made in Italy. She is quite stunning and certainly an unusual piece to add to your Majolica collectiion.
