Today we are offering a beautiful, rare clock made by Ithaca in approx. 1874! It's a double dial, calendar, parlor clock, model 3 1/2. We believe some minor restorations may have been made to the clock over the years such as the clock hands and top glass door, touch-up paint, etc., but most everything else is original and in very nice condition. The case is a 2-Pc., dark walnut with ebony trim and black, applied carvings. The overall height is approx. 20.5" tall by 10" wide. The movement is E.N. Welch, The pendulum is engraved glass with a logo monogram. The time dial is approx. 5" in diameter and is black with silver numbers. The calendar dial is approx. 8" in diameter with rolls that are black paper on wood. The lower door has a push-button release. The 2-piece backboard has it's original sticker though it is barely readable. Inside one of the backboard's, the maintenance records have been penciled in over the years beginning in the early 1900's. This is an 8-day chiming clock. There is a single brass key (not original). There are no condition issues we are aware of to note. There is some wear and scratching on the time face. We wound this clock and it ran beautifully for 8 days! We did not set the calendar, however, complete instructions on how to do so will be shipped with the clock. We will sell only to residents in the U.
