YOUR BIDDING ON Antique Scrimshaw Carved Ivory Bodkin & Crochet Hook. Both pieces are very well carved. They have good form and nice color. Bodkins are pointed implements generally used for punching holes in cloth by sailors on whaling ships. The crochet hook would be used as a "hooked needle" along with the bodkin. The bodkin measures 3" long and 1/4" wide. The Crochet hook measures 2.75" long and 1/4" wide. Together they make a great addition to any collection. I accept pay al, money orders and cashiers checks. All items must be paid within 5 days at end of auction. ALL SALES ARE FINAL, so please ask any questions before you start bidding!
