Beautiful Antique English - John Scott - double wick oil lamp. Exact date of manufacture is unknown... need to do some research on this. At this time, lamp does not have the outer globe/shade, but does have inner glass chimney. One small, shallow dent, otherwise in excellent condition. Brass base is approximately 13 inches high Globe stand is 10" in diameter. Double wicks are in place, old, but very good condition. Wick handles turn well.... a good, functioning lamp.For those items whose value is over $50 or of a fragile nature, we strongly suggest you select the Insurance Option. This is especially true for a kerosene lamp, or any other item whose components might include glass. We obviously have no control over the shipping of your item, and it is always better to be safe. If any shipping damage should occur, we would not be responsible for any reimbursement. We feel the carrier should be held liable for any mis-handling of items in their care during transport. For International sales, USPS offers Tracking, only on the "Global Express" level of service. This also includes a $100 of insurance, and the delivery time is 3 - 5 days. It is for these three reasons, that we only offer this option as a part of our International Sales.
