Offering for auction is this authentic and beautiful Jacla , which is the Navajo word for "ear string" , also spelled Jocla , they consist of two hoops of turquoise heishi , that were originally earrings that were attached to the bottom of their stone bead necklaces as a pendant-like attachment worn by the men and women of all Puebla tribes, these having three turquoise nuggets shaped beads that hang at the bottom and silver caps . They're strung on old cotton string that is still strong enough to be worn but showing see photos may need tightening . Wonderful beauties from the past. Over 4" long.
