This auction is for an antique woven jacquard table runner, probably brought back to the US by a military man who found himself in exotic places during the war, woven with long sections of color that bring the woven design to life. This one has a dynamic design, the Taj Mahal proudly featured in the very center, with a 'Lawrence of Arabia' type figure on either side, a man on a rearing horse, the man wearing a turban and flowing scarf that billows in the wind. The ends are fringed in shimmery gold. This measures approx. 60" long and 17" wide. It is in excellent condition. Estimated shipping weight, (packaged) is 1 lbs 8 oz in a 13 x 11 x 5 box. TWO - Shipping Charges We charge shipping based on the USPS system, we will sometimes ship via courier if we can get it to you within the same time frame or faster. We add a reasonable cost for materials, normally that is $2.00 for regular sized packages. For small flat items $1.00. That covers the expense of boxes, envelopes, bubble wrap, peanuts, (We only use new packing materials, life is too short to scrounge through dumpsters).
