Selling a pair of antique (deco era) jadite mantle lamps in working condition. The Jadite base of the lamps measure approximately 6" x 6". The lamps stand approximately 19 1/4" tall. The jadite shades are heavily embossed with peacocks sitting ontop of an ornamental tree. I have attempted to take a picture of the embossed shades but it is very difficult to capture the image. The shades are much nicer than they appear. A portion of one shade was cracked and re-glued and a small piece remains missing. If the lamps are on top of a mantle, it is not noticeable. The other shade is in perfect condition. The lamps are much nicer than the pictures portray. The pressed metal area, w the prisms hang is ornately detailed. See the picture for a closeup of this area. The prisms do not appear to be as old as the lamps. I mention this for accuracy as they go very well together. The middle "ball type" jadite area is also heavily embossed with the peacocks sitting on top of a tree branch. The peacocks tails are laying long behind them. The tail is slightly curved towards its head. I have a 100% Ebay rating so bid with confidence! The buyer pays shipping and any desired insurance.
