This James W. Tufts of Boston Mass. is a plated silverware creamer measuring 4 1/4" to the top of the handle x 3" at it's widest. It is marked on the bottom "James W. Tufts" Quadruple Plate...Boston with a 4 starlike logo with a "T" in the center....Boston Warranted and the number 2212. The patina is super and the design has an intricate banding around the top and base. T is a small 3/4" irregularity of flatness in the "roundness" of the very base. It has a nice weight to it...almost 8 ounces. Date for this piece approximately around 1875-1881.
