Original antique Art Nouveau Majolica tile by Japan DK Tileworks. This type of tiles were usually extensively, especially by the Peranakan (Baba or Straits Chinese), in Singapore in Malaysia in the early 1900s to decorate the interior and exterior walls of houses. They were also used by the Peranakan to decorate their furnitures. Design: Pink roses with leaves on a light yellow background (does not show up well on the picture due to photography).Measurement: 6 inches square or 15cm by 15cm. Condition: Average to Good, with minor surface chips & wears, crazing and nicks/flea bites. Please view pictures for the details. Methods of payment: PAYPAL only. Shipping charges : US$16.00 via regular air mail to the US & worldwide. Takes 9 - 12 days for shipping. Combine shipping at US$10.00 for each additional tile.
