FINE PORCELAIN ANTIQUE JAPANESE TEA SET - RARE FIND - MUST SEE THE PICTURES BELOW!! This is a rare item. Antique Japanese Porcelain Tea Set, hand painted, passed down in one family. This beautiful Japanese Tea Set was brought back to the states from Japan by a WWII veteran. It was purchased in Japan during the War by the GI and brought home in 1945 when he returned. He gave it to his wife as a gift. This Japanese Porcelain Tea Set was then passed down to their son. This has been a treasured family item since it was given to the GI's wife as a homecoming gift. See the beautiful flowers and countryside scene of Japan painted on each piece. A very special feature can be seen in the bottem of each cup - a Geisha impressed into the porcelain. A very unique set! T has been one small repair to the creamer. Otherwise, this set is in pristine condition. Set includes 6 cups & plates, 1 creamer, 1 sugar, & 1 tea pot. Handling / Packaging will range within $0-$3 on average and is included in our shipping cost quote with each auction. Shipping We generally use USPS, UPS, and FedEx as shipping providers. Other providers may be used for international shipments. Our standard method for UPS and FedEx is Ground. We may ship Overnight or 2-day if requested by the buyer - please contact us for a quote for these services. We will ship internationally when possible. We do require insurance be applied to international shipments and only applicable providers will be used. If you have your own UPS or FedEx account and wish to use that for shipment of your items, we will be glad to work with you. Delivery As a standard we ship within 3 business days of receiving your payment, sometimes faster. Refunds & Returns We will accept returns for any item that arrives in an unacceptable condition.
