This is an antique iron Japanese teapot with a bronze lid that is signed on the underside as shown in one of the pictures. The teapot is in good condition with no cracks or chips but it seems that the finial on the lid is missing and has rust inside. I do not know the exact time of manufacture but I believe itâe(tm)s at least from the early 1900âe(tm)s. The pot is approximately 7 1⁄4âe, including spout, 6 1⁄2âe not including spout and 8 1⁄2âe high to the top of the extended handle. It weighs 3 LB 8 OZ before packing.
