A beautiful antique Japanese Meiji period two section tobacco pipe case or muso-zutsu, together with a pipe. The case is in black lacquered wood, engraved and inlaid with a metal image of a stork and a decorative metal loop for the cord. It is in good condition with some scratches to one end of the case (see photo). The case measures 9.5 inches (24.5 cm.) and the pipe measures 7.75 inches (20 cm.) long.
