ANTIQUE JEAN POUYAT LIMOGES FRENCH PORCELAIN DINNER PLATE c1900 In overall excellent and clean condition is this beautiful French Limoges plate by Jean Pouyat although I would point out there is a tiny brown speck which can be seen in the photograph showing a close-up of the border design ~ the surface around this looks like it has had a slight graze to the glaze but I think this has been caused within its making ~ it does not really detract the overall appearance and I mention purely for the purpose of accuracy Beautifully shaped rim with embossed wave/scroll design Transfer print border of dainty bouquets of pink roses & green foliage suspended with blue ribbon, each bouquet being linked with dainty grey bells all entwined with green foliage Please see photographs for design and base mark Measures approx 9 3/4" dia (25 cm) Despatch Times I endeavour to mail the same day as payment arrives unless there are unforeseen circumstances, but should this miss my Post Office run or be out of Post Office hours, I will mail the following day.
