This lamp goes back to the late 1800`s to the early to mid 1900`S . It was made by the P&A MFG Co as seen on the stem of the wick mechanism which works well. The stem also shows Pat. Jan 16.83. Other patents show up after this date.P&A was the Plume & Atwood Maufacturing co. For further info goto /lw_companies_p&a.htm for greater detail of the company. The lamp is 9 1/2" tall x 7" wide x 7 1/2 " deep while hanging on the wall. T are two pieces to this lamp. One is the holder with mirror attached that mounts to a wall . T is a slot in the bracket to mount to the wall. The second is the bowl and wick assembly which is easily removed from bracket by just lifting out. Sorry I don`t have the chimney (globe). The bowl is stained but can be cleaned. The wick mechanism and burning assembly is brass(all parts above glass is brass) which also can be cleaned.T is about 6" of good wick. The holder is made of steel which is black and in poor shape but with a little sanding and paint job would look just great. The disk around the mirror is also brass. I only cleaned up areas to find information. I felt the buyer might want the aged look wever he displays this Beauty. I am very confident that this lamp still works.
