It is an old boiler gauge.The brass front gauge is 9 3/4" wide. It is 2 1/2" thick. It weighs 10 1/2 pounds mounted on the oak board.The gauge has a brass front frame, and a cast iron back.It has been mounted on an oak board for displaying. The board is 11 3/4" x 11 1/4".The gauge is marked on the dial, "Schaeffer & Budenberg" "American" "Brooklyn, N.Y." and "Kewanee Boiler Co." "Kewanee Ill.".The appearance of the gauge is very good+. The gauge has a patent date of Feb. 19, 1924.
