Pertinent Information : Since last putting this clock up for auction - several nifty folks have given us considerable information surrounding this clock. It is a KROEBER (DEXTER) clock. It appears on page 234 of the " Tran Duy Ly Kroeber " book. For those of you in the business of collecting and selling clocks - you know more than we do. For those of you wishing to begin collecting these wonderful old clocks - this particular one is considered highly collectable. It's in working order. We have the key as well. It's an 8 day wind and has a lovely melodious strike. It's about 18" x 18". Several years ago, we purchased the clock from a restorer and clock repair person - Mark Erwin - who, at the time had a clock business in Vermont. He has since moved on and we've be unable to gather any information from him regarding the clock. However, as mentioned, many online folks have come forth with information - for which we thank you.
