Welcome and thanks for looking! As found, a spectacular old lamp! The shade is missing, unfortunately. The ring is 10 inches in diameter. The height of this magnificent old lamp is about 17 inches. The base is brass and is stamped with the number 455. T is a marble piece with a hole drilled in it, then a brass twist stem. The blown glass has etched flowers and leaves going all the way around and a thumbprint design also around the upper curve. Surely hand made as these are not exactly evenly spaced. T are a few tiny bubbles in the glass, but one must look for them in good lighting. No cracks or chips in the glass or the marble. The brass looks to be in wonderful shape. The ring on top to hold the shade is bent in a couple of places on the bottom but could be straightened easily since it is pretty thin. I believe this lamp was wired or rewired years ago with this cloth cord because the plug has a price tag on it of 25 cents. I plugged in the lamp and it works fine! I welcome any info on this lamp from other ebayers. I don't know much about lamps and welcome you to share with the rest of us!
