26"x22.5" landscape waterwheel cabin by C. Westchiloff. This painting is an estate sale find, kept in garage for the past 30 years. I am not a collector and have not had appraisal done. I am describing what I see an therefore may not give all details important to collectors. Looks like an oil painting to me and i have not removed from frame to see the back of painting. The signature I compared to others and appears to me that it is original. I do not see a date however bio of the artist(see below) indicates artist died in 1945. The colors in the painting are dull and I assume faded. The frame is very worn, the back is torn. The glass is cracked! Please see photos as part of description. Please ask if questions. As is no returns please.Constantin Westchiloff Bio:Constantin Alexandrovitch Westchiloff (1877-1945) is an American-Russian artist. He was born in Russia in 1877, and studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in St. Petersburg; as an artist he traveled extensively in Europe and in the USA. He finally settled in New England, where he died in 1945.
