's a very nice large antique Cuckoo Clock fresh out of an estate I recently cleaned out. I believe it dates back to late Victorian or turn of the century judging by the quality and detail of the carvings as well as the works. Notice the fine carved details on the birds and the leaves. The wood case has a nice clean and beautiful patina. The clock is a great large size measuring 26" inches high from the bottom of the pendulum to the top of the bird on the crown, and 15-1/4" wide and approximately 8" deep. The face has a 5-1/2" dial and its original numbers and hands. This clock runs good and keeps good time, however, one of the bellows needs adjustment. The bellows is not broken, it just looks like it just needs some sort of adjustment, which I will leave to the winning bidder. It strikes the ½ hour and counts the hour. The case is in excellent shape with no breaks. The back door is embossed "Made in Germany " in a semi-circle, and t is part of an original label (words are gone) on the back of the clock. The clock works on two weights and has brass works which are marked "James A. Hearn, Germany ". The weights are also large measuring 6-3/4" long.
