An exquisite repousse silver handled button/boot hook in excellent order. Imagery of vines wrapping around the handle with a blank cartouche to the top. Unable to definitively establish date lettering but it may be 1852. There is a QV duty mark which ceased being used in 1890 so the item is earlier than that date. Very large example at 33cm and ideal as a centre piece in a hook spread. Plenty of pictures
