This Auction is for an extremely rare Antique Laudanum Bottle Tincture of Opium This slightly aqua-tinted bottle is empty but in immaculate condition. Both labels are also in perfect condition. The glass bottle is stamped or embossed underneath "ITALY 500ml". The original cork is slightly stained from the liquid it used to contain but it is completely intact. It has not been removed since it has been in my possession. The exact age is unknown, however, I can say I personally rescued it from an estate home in Fayetteville, NC prior to the home's demolition. The owner of the home was very wealthy and prominent figure in the area and traveled worldwide. This bottle, amongst other antiques, was carelessly left behind by her uncaring heirs. It was stored very secretively under her bathroom sink.
