An old toy mold for lead figures.....this one is of a dog....looks to be a Labrador Retriever. The dog has great detail! Circa 1920's or 30's ( or before?). Each side of the mold has a turned wooden handle. They each fit perfectly together with pins on one mold side to fit the other mold side (male-female tooling for perfect fit!) Each measures approx. 5 to 5-2/8 inches in length...this is the measurement from end of wood handle tip to end of cast iron mold. Each mold plate measures approx. 2-1/2 inches by 3-1/8 inches.
