This auction is for a RARE antique LEICH wall mount phone in used, unrestored, non-working condition. Phone box is made of solid oak and is in excellent condition for its age, with no visible cracks in wood. Oak box does appear to have been refinished at some time in its life. Telephone is hand-crank/ringer style. I believe all original parts and components are intact and present, with the exception of the battery and door key, however, I am not a phone expert, so please do your own research based upon photos provided. There is a visible crack between the mouth-piece and the neck where the two pieces connect. Mouth-piece states, " LEICH ELECTRIC CO." and "GENOA, ILL. U.S.A.". The top of mouth-piece is stamped "1L". Item is being sold in "As-Is" condition, with no warranties expressed or implied. Phone will likely need full restoration or could be displayed as a vintage piece as presented. Free shipping anywhere in the Continental U.S.A.
