It is an antique tool. The "Hight Micrometer Level" was made in Toledo Ohio. It is 24" long and 4" tall. It was made with contrasting dark and light wood. The bubbles work. The leveler on the end can be turned up and down. It has a vintage refinish. Part of the inside curved paper measure is missing. The pendulum swings freely, but is a replacement. We are not sure if the glass is original. It fits well. T are nicks and old repairs. The tool looks good. It can be displayed as it is, finishing it with the paper remains fitted on the curve inside the glass, and a little black paint on the pendulum. With effort and a conservative eye, It can be made to look great. This is a rare tool most tool collectors won't have. Great to display with antiques and primitives.
