KNIGHTS TEMPLAR SWORD M.C. LILLEY & CO. This antique sword is in excellent condition. It has only some slight wear. The sword is a tight fit in the scabbard. The blade is very nicely engraved with gold on both sides. There is red and blue enameling on the cross and crown on the crossguard. It is stamped M.C. LILLEY & CO. COLUMBUS OHIO. The name on the blade is R.D. HAWLEY. It is very fancy script. The scabbard has a very small area of rust. There are no dents. There is a leather carrying case included, but it is in poor condition. The stitching has come out of the seams and the bottom tip of the case is missing. The case has the original owner's name engraved along with his home town, Charllesville, Va.
