Artist Signed 1800s Art Nouveau Limoges Perfume Bottle This is a fantastic handpainted perfume bottle created by Limoges- at the turn of the century - is handpainted and signed by the Artist. It has a two sided floral pictoral, one with the 2 open flowers, vine and bud w the other side has the single open flower. The sides are typical Art Nouveau era and exquisite. The top and stopper are made of brass and what I think is copper. The stopper does not attach tightly. Should you tip it over it would fall out. However, it is original to the piece and appears to fit right (t may be an insert of something missing). This piece is stamped with the LIMOGES SC FRANCE mark and artist signed by (M C Reintfairs sp?) Please see the picture as I am unsure of a few letters. This piece is in exellent condition with the exception of the light scratch in the gold gild, on the side of the bottle,as pictured. Measures 3" (7.5cm) to the top of the stopper x 2-1/4 (6cm) Across x 2/3" (2cm) Deep Should anyone have any questions or wantto offer advise, please do not hesitate to do so!
