Antique Limoges Plates Platter 9 Pc Fish Service Very elegant china from the factory of Tressemanes & Vogt, in Limoges, France. Marks indicate circa 1892-1917. Different hand painted fish on each plate, with one repeat. Scroll edges in the Rococo style, with pale brown-gold aquatic plant accents. No utensil marks, but some storage damage, as noted below. The platter is 23-3/4" x 9-1/2" x 1-5/8" No cracks, but has three rim chips, two underside of rim, and one on rim edge. The largest of these is seen in the photos below. Tough to notice in display or table use. Three of the plates are in excellent condition, no flaws noted. The four have one small chip each, and one has two chips. These are all small rim chips, not uncommon for Limoges dinner ware from this era. The plates are 9" diameter each.Beautiful set for table use or for display.
