It has "Trade Mark; Oil Guard Lamp; Pat.'d Sep.20.1870" molded into the underside of the base. It measures about 15 1/8 inches tall, with the chimney, x 4 7/8 inches in diameter and 7 3/8 inches to the top of the collar. The burner is a Plume & Atwood "Banner". This lamp is in excellent condition. This lamp is featured in "Oil Lamps: The Kerosene Era in North America" by Catherine M. Thuro on page 179, along with the two other variations. This auction also includes the burner, wick and the chimney. For everyone, especially those who are new to my auctions: The items I list are from auctions and estate sales.
