This is an Antique Dark Mahagony (or Similar hard wood) French Carved Full Size Bed. The Headboard is 5' High 57" wide 78" long foot board is 36" high . The finish is original and untouched. It has normal wear on the top of foot board. It is notched on side rails for holding box spring.Great carving on the headboard that it is a Fertility symbol.The approximate date of the bed is 1875 to 1890. The bed was made in FRANCE in the last qauarter if the 19th century.The frame currently fits a Double / Full SIze Mattress & Box Spring.Super Bed wooden rails all original.The nite stand pictured next to the bed is also available for sale to the winner of the bed, it was purchased at the same time and same place as the bed. If the winner of the bed does not wish to purchase it I will list it seperately.This Bed Must be picked up in the Philadelphia Western Suburbs, or you make the moving arrangement. I can arrange local delivery for $125. within a 100 mile radius of Philadelphia.
