Antique Georgian or Federal style mahogany lowboy or desk, circa 1890. Fine, antique, Georgian/Federal style solid mahogany lowboy or desk, below the overhanging top is one long drawer, below this are two shorter drawers. Each drawer has cockbeading and brass drop handles with backplates, below the drawers t is a shaped skirt and a kneehole, the lowboy stands on Queen Anne legs and terminates on pad feet. This is a solid mahogany piece, even the back and drawer linings are mahogany, dovetailed construction throughout. Dimensions ; 36" wide x 32" tall x 18.25" deep , condition is very good, no damage, a fine piece of antique furniture! Do not be daunted by shipping, I use Mike Caldwell Transport, he has specialized in shipping antique furniture across the states for the last 10 years, he is very reliable and the most economical shipping I have found!
