This is a superb example of an antique Wedgwood Majolica "Sunflower" Tray, .. dating from circa. 1870. The tray is decorated with a relief moulding of a sunflower and leaves, .. against a basket-weave background, ... then finished in a rich glaze typical of majolica wares. The tray is in very good condition. T are no chips or repairs. T is a very fine hair-line on the rim, ... this is minimal and is shown in the photos. Length : 10.9 ins. / 27.8 cms.
