RHINESTONE STUDDED MALE DOG FIGURE Fresh out of the estate of a long time Pennsylvania Dog Collector and directly to you, this listing is for an Antique Ceramic Pottery Glazed Rhinestone Studded Dog Figure. We're not sure of the breed of this anatomically correct male, but it looks similar to a Bull Dog, Pit Bull, or perhaps even a Bull Terrier. Unmarked by its maker (perhaps it once had a paper tag?), the construction and patina of this piece leads us to believe that it was crafted in about the 1920s-30s era. Please scroll down to see our photos and note the Yellow Rhinestone eyes and collar studs of this Dog. Measuring about 4 inches in height and about 6.5 inches in length from its lips to the end of its docked tail, this Dog has a stable stance and is free of any chips, cracks, or breaks, or restoration that we can detect. The rich brown glaze is similar in appearance to that of Rockingham pieces. And be sure to check out the fine detail of the facial wrinkling.
