Antique Map of California click for larger image This is a large map of California in good shape considering its age. It deserves to be mounted and or framed. It is genuine and comes from the 1892 Rand McNally Indexed Atlas of the World. It is approximately 28 x 20 inches at the outside edge, a double-page elephant folio size. T is perhaps a 1 inch or slightly larger white border around the outside edge of the actual printed map. The colors are still quite vivid with incredible detail - t are 100s of place names on this map. This map is more than 115 years old and some wear typical for its age. The detail image gives an idea of the sharpness of detail that this map actually has - it is actually better than the pictures. is an enlargement showing the high level of detail. Shipping will be $ 4.00 in the U.S. Shipping outside the U.S. will be at actual rates.
