Outstanding 19th century marble top stand. It has a nice octagonal marble top with beveled edges. The marble is very nice with only faint scratching and no staining. It is in very good condition. The marble top has the appropriate over hang. The tri leg stand is in walnut and the legs are inset on each side and top with burl walnut panels. The surface appears to be original. It has a rich and lustrous patina. It is very sturdy Ã,Â- it does not wobble. There are no breaks or repairs. It is just as elegant as can be! It is a difficult style to find these days. It would be appropriate as a lamp table or a pedestal for a sculpture. It measures 31Ã,Â" at highest with a 15 1/8Ã,Â" overall diameter.
