This is a very interesting item.....Being what appears to be an antique spoon, used by sailors and crew upon sailing ships as utensils were not readily available, so they made their own... Its appears to be made of bone....but does strike a resemblence of a tooth.... With a scrimshaw carved mouthpice as decoration...the mouthpiece is also polished..... Please see all photos.... It appears in excellent condition...With age usage related wear.. I can only hazard at an age, possibly late 18th, early 19th century...... The spoon measures approx just under: 4.5 Inches(10.25cms) Long Thank You and I wish you the very best of Luck Bidders with '0' feedback score, please contact me first prior to bidding, thank you...
