Offered for sale is this antique Brass Telescope with a very old patina and a great antique look to it! It is a 3 draw scope that when extended measures 27" long making it a fairly large one. This was probably used in Maritime but could have been used for a variety of purposes also. I cannot find a maker on it but it could be hidden from view by the years of patina that is on it. It has its original brass lens cap and the original leather covering although the leather has split along the seam as the pictures show. The telescope works fine and opens and closers easily. The small sliding brass "flap" that covers the eyepiece still is there and in good working order. This has the "feel" and the weight of a finely made instrument. I purchased it 25 years ago from a private collector. The body has a few small dings as expected from age.
