I ran across this very cool old knife and sheath at a recent estate sale in Seattle.I don't much about, but I'll do my best to explain...The sheath is made of leather.There are some little paint specks on it and the tip is damaged. (see photos)It reads "MADE IN FINLAND" on the leather part.There are also some detailed design on the sheath.The upper metal part has etched scroll work.There is a small chain, with a hook for hanging...perhaps from your belt loop?The knife itself measures 7.5" long.The blade measures almost 5" long.There is beautiful cursive writing on the blade. It reads, "Made in Finland"There are several words above the "made in finland" butI cannot make out what it says, hopefully someone out there will know!The metal part of the handle also has the etched scroll work.
