Antique Masters One Quart Motor OIL JAR Bottle Up for auction is this unique glass oil bottle with ametal pour spout. THE TOP SPOUT WAS MANUFACTURED BY THE MASTER MFG. CO., LITCHFIELD , ILL. , PAT'D SEPT. 14, 1926. THE BOTTLE ITSELF HAS NUMEROUS RAISED INSIGNIAS AND LETTERING. NEAR THE TOP OF THE JAR IT SAYS...FILL TO LINE. WITH AN ARROW GOING UP TO THE RAISED RING LINE. ALONG SIDE OF THAT IN THE CENTER OF THE JAR IS A SQUARE WITH RAISED LETTERING...MASS.O - 11 - B SEAL. BELOW THAT IS...ONE LIQUID QUART. AT THE BOTTOM OF THE JAR ARE RAISED LETTERS SAYING...PA. SERIAL M - 24. TWO DIFFERENT RAISED SHAPES. THE FIRST IS A TRIANGLE WITH 64 MINN.. THE SECOND SHAPE IS A CIRCLE WITH RAISED LETTERING SAYING...N.C. M 10 APPROVED. Overall 14” tall with spout, 9 ¼” w/o spout. This piece of history is in excellent condition, no crack or chips and is very clean and oil free.
