Up for auction is an antique McCoy "Mammy" ceramic cookie jar. Sheis dressed in white with a red head scarf and green waist belt. Thebase of the jar has the raised letters "Cookies" across the bottom of her dress. The base also is marked "McCoy" on the bottom. Both the top piece and the bottom piece have the normal age crazing throughout their surfaces. Most of the green paint has worn off the bottom piece. And much of the paint is worn off the top piece. T are no chips or cracks on either of the pieces. The piece measures approximately 7 1/2 inches x 7 1/2 inches x 11 inches high. This was made about 60 years ago from what I understand.
